Beeks Group

Developing a stronger, more cohesive identity system—from their logo to a suite of icons, to digital and print—all reflecting their mission to simplify infrastructure for capital markets.

Beeks, headquartered in Glasgow, is a leading IaaS provider for high-frequency trading and financial markets. With low-latency compute, global data-center connectivity, and powerful analytics, Beeks helps exchanges, banks, brokers, and fintechs scale securely and fast.

Form and function in fintech

In 2020, I partnered with Beeks Group to deliver a full rebrand that brought clarity, confidence, and cohesion to their growing portfolio of cloud-based financial services.

From refining their visual identity and streamlining their UX to reworking their marketing collateral, every touchpoint was aligned with their strategic messaging—Build. Connect. Analyse. The result was their branding now reflects their scale, credibility, and vision, with a modern aesthetic and clear narrative that speaks directly to the financial markets they serve.

The new Beeks logo was designed to reflect clarity, precision and infrastructure at scale. I stripped things back to the essential forms—a bold, geometric wordmark that balances strength with simplicity. It’s built to stand confidently across digital and physical applications, whether on investor reports or data centre signage. Every curve and cut was considered to support the company’s evolution from niche provider to global fintech infrastructure partner. I didn’t just design their logo—I created a visual foundation for a business that builds, connects, and analyses at speed.

Project Deliverables

Strategic rebrand

The Beeks rebrand was a strategic reset—designed to align their visual identity, messaging and user experience with the scale and sophistication of their infrastructure offering. From a bold new logo and cohesive iconography to a refined colour system, UX improvements and motion graphics, every element was crafted to reflect clarity, confidence and control. The goal was simple: to position Beeks as the trusted, global partner for capital markets infrastructure—modern, focused, and built for what’s next.

Clear logo direction

The new Beeks logo was designed to bring clarity, confidence, and structure to a fast-scaling tech brand. Built on a precise modular grid, the custom wordmark balances geometric strength with simplicity — giving it presence across everything from server racks and pitch decks to investor reports and mobile screens. The bold, unembellished typography communicates stability and focus, while the strong horizontal rhythm suggests reliability and forward momentum — exactly what Beeks delivers to financial markets.

Every design element was built to scale, to be recognisable at a glance, and to flex across digital platforms and high-spec printed materials. More than just a logo, it’s a core part of a unified brand system designed to evolve with Beeks as they grow globally.

Animations/video

As part of the Beeks rebrand, I created a series of illustrated brand animations designed to communicate their complex financial infrastructure services with clarity and impact. Using a custom illustration style built around clean lines, a minimal colour palette, and smooth transitions, each animation reinforced the new brand system while making technical concepts more accessible. These motion graphics were tailored for web, presentations, and investor decks — helping Beeks tell their story visually. For fast-moving tech companies and B2B platforms, strategic motion design and illustration can be the difference between being understood or overlooked — and that’s exactly where I come in.

Icons set

To support the Beeks rebrand, I designed a custom icon set (55 in total) and suite of illustrations used across Beeks’ platform, marketing materials and animated explainers. Each icon was built on the same geometric grid as the logo to maintain visual consistency, with clean, minimal linework that scales well across digital and printed environments.

Illustrations

The new Beeks illustration style was purposefully technical but approachable—using simplified forms and a limited palette to communicate complex infrastructure concepts with clarity and ease. The animations help bring the Beeks offering to life—visually reinforcing their promise of speed, transparency and control.

Signage

As part of the rebrand for Beeks, I designed a full suite of internal and external signage to bring the new identity to life across their physical environments. From reception areas and meeting rooms to server halls and building exteriors, every sign was designed with clarity, consistency and usability in mind. I created a very unique internal 3D piece of wall art for their bar area that they have in they headquarters in Glasgow.
