My company is called Atom Create Scotland Ltd, a design studio based in Prestwick, Scotland, and my trading name is atom.

I will agree the scope, price and timeline of your project in writing before I start. Any extra work outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges.

I usually ask for a 50% deposit to start work, with the balance due on project completion. All invoices are due within 7 days unless otherwise agreed. balances will always be due by return.

You’ll own the final design files once full payment is made. Until then, I will retain all rights. I will showcase your project in my portfolio or marketing unless you ask me not to.

Unless agreed otherwise, my pricing includes up to one round of changes depending on the scope of the project. Extra revisions may incur an additional cost and will be considered outwit the brief.

I will always do my best to meet all agreed deadlines. However, I am not responsible for delays caused by things outside my control, like late client feedback, late supply of content or copy or force majeure.

You can cancel the project at any time in writing. If you do, we’ll invoice for work completed up to that point. Deposits are non-refundable.

I carry professional indemnity and public liability insurance. My work is provided in good faith, but I am not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

I treat your project with confidence and don’t share sensitive information unless you give us permission or we’re required by law.

These terms are governed by Scottish law, and any disputes will be handled in Scottish courts.
